Install Daylume as an app

Daylume is a progressive web app (PWA). You can add it to a supported phone, tablet, or computer without downloading it from an app store. Installation is free on every plan.

Before you install

Open Daylume in your browser and sign in. Installation adds an icon and opens Daylume in a standalone window. Your account and data stay the same.

On a supported browser, Daylume may show an Install Daylume suggestion. That button opens the browser's real installation prompt; your browser or operating system still asks you to confirm. If you dismiss the suggestion, Settings → Install app remains available.

iPhone or iPad

1. Open Daylume in Safari.
2. In Daylume, open Settings → Install app → View steps, or use the install guidance card when it appears.
3. Tap Share in Safari.
4. Choose Add to Home Screen.
5. Confirm the name, then tap Add.

If the option is hidden, scroll through the Share actions.

Android

1. Open Daylume in a supported browser such as Chrome.
2. Tap Install Daylume when Daylume offers it, or open Settings → Install app.
3. Confirm the browser prompt.

You can also open the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.

The exact label can vary by browser and device.

Desktop

In a supported Chromium browser, use Daylume's Install Daylume suggestion or Settings → Install app. You can also look for an install icon in the address bar or Install Daylume in the browser menu.

If no option appears, keep using Daylume in the browser or save a bookmark. Daylume will show Installed in Settings when it is already running as an installed app.

Offline and privacy

Installing Daylume does not enable offline task editing; changes still require a network connection. The installed app keeps only public interface assets and a static offline message on the device. It does not cache your tasks, account pages, authenticated responses, or API data.
