Use quick-add templates

Quick-add templates keep tasks you create often one tap away. Select a template under Templates on Today to create an ordinary active task planned for today. The new task keeps the template's saved title and priority, counts toward your active-task limit, and can be edited like any other task.

Manage your templates

Open Settings → More settings → Quick-add templates. Choose New to save a title and priority, or use the controls beside an existing template to edit, delete, pin, or unpin it.

New accounts start with Reply email, Call back, and Run errand. They are editable templates, not a separate kind of task. Free can keep up to five quick-add templates; Plus can keep up to 15.

Put useful choices first

Pin up to five templates to place them before unpinned templates on Today. Unpinned templates remain in creation order.

One template can also have Make created tasks Up next turned on. A task created from that template becomes the explicit Up next choice. Turning the option on for another template moves it from the previous one, so two templates cannot compete for that role.

If a template is not visible in the first row on Today, choose the control to show more. Creating a task from a template does not complete it or bypass normal task limits.
