Dayprints

Manage email updates

Dayprints keeps optional product updates separate from the emails you need to use your account. Your updates choice controls only occasional notes about meaningful product changes.

Choose at signup

The signup form includes an unticked checkbox offering occasional Dayprints updates. You can leave it unticked. The choice is optional, and Dayprints creates your account in the same way whether you select it or not.

When email confirmation is required, Dayprints sends the welcome email after you confirm the account. The updates choice does not suppress it because the welcome is about the account itself, not a marketing subscription.

Change your choice in Settings

After signing in, open Settings → Email updates. Turn Receive Dayprints updates on to receive them or off to stop them. You can change the choice again later.

Turning updates off affects only product updates. It does not stop account email.

Unsubscribe without signing in

An updates email includes an unsubscribe link. Follow it to a confirmation page, then select Unsubscribe from updates. You do not need to sign in.

Opening the link by itself does not unsubscribe you. The separate confirmation step prevents email security scanners that check links automatically from changing your choice by accident.

Account emails keep working

Password resets, sign-in or account confirmations, the welcome email, and task reminders you request are account messages. They continue whether Dayprints updates are on or off.

The product-updates unsubscribe cannot stop those messages. This separation means you can decline product news without losing the emails needed to access, recover, or use your account.

If you do not receive the signup-confirmation email, check your spam or junk folder. Then choose Send a new confirmation link on the screen shown after signup.

If a signup-confirmation link fails and returns you to login, you can also choose Send a new confirmation link there.

The response is the same whether the email address still needs confirmation or not. This helps prevent anyone from finding out whether an account exists.
