Daylume

Return to Today after time away

After at least one complete local calendar day away, Daylume opens Today with Welcome back and Start with today. These choices are Free and quota-free.

Choose how you'd like to continue. Nothing will be deleted or marked complete. Daylume does not count the work left behind on this return screen.

Clear the previous plan

Choose Clear the previous plan to remove unfinished tasks from the last active plan from Today. Even after a longer gap, it uses that plan, not "yesterday" or the date immediately before today.

Clearing the previous plan only removes its unfinished tasks from Today. They stay in Tasks, and their due dates and your progress remain unchanged. You can restore the previous plan until the end of today.

Clear does not delete or archive tasks, mark tasks complete, change due dates or scheduled times, or rewrite completed work. Momentum, Rhythm, and Dayprints stay unchanged.

Restore previous plan remains available through that return day and returns unfinished tasks to their previous plan and order.

Choose one task

Use Choose one task to pick one available task for Today. Daylume moves only that task. The rest stays in Tasks.

The chooser says:

Choose one task for Today. The rest will stay in Tasks.

Use Add this task to place the selection in Today, or Back to return to the three choices.

Keep Today as it is

Use Keep Today as it is to dismiss the return choices without implying that a plan exists. The dismissal lasts for that local day, so the card will not return after a refresh.

Where older work goes

Today keeps unfinished plans from the previous seven local dates, plus due items from today or those same seven dates, in Needs attention. Anything older is hidden from Today, not deleted or silently dropped.

Use Tasks to find active work of any age. The full Plan view also keeps overdue due-date items available for review.
